CMC is offering a two years FEM Programme in Emergency Medicine
3)St.Johns Hospital located at Bangalore is also offering a one year Emergency Medicine fellowship programme .You need to pay nothing and inturn they will provide stipend for your work,skills etc.

Vinayaka Mission is offering 3 year MD programme in Emergency Medicine at its three campuses in Salem,Pondicherry,Karaikal .
5) Indian Institute of Emergency Medical Services -- www.iiems.org IIEMS IN COLLABORATION WITH GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IS ORGANISING A TWO YEARS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME IN EMERGENCY MEDICINE (FEM) WHERE THE TRAINEES HAVE AN OPTION TO GO FOR A SIX WEEKS ROTATION AT THE EMERGENCY MEDICINE DEPT. AT THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY .

There are mixed opinions as to the competency of the programmes in various hospitals.There were news that many students who joined the PGFEM programme left the course after six months.So doctors are strongly advised to get themselves fully convinced before joining the programme in a particular Institution. 6) AIIMS ,New Delhi is going to start an MD programme soon.
7) DNB Board is planning to start DNB Emergency Medicine all over India .
In555 the recently concluded EMCON'07 conference , Dr.Rajasekharan ,chairman DNB Board opined that it is already late in india as all the developed countries have a fully structured training programme in Emergency Medicine.He also said that the DNB Board is very keen to start the three year DNB programme soon.
